How it works
- Open or drop one or more PDFs, or start with a blank page.
- Select a page and use the toolbar to annotate, sign, edit text, or manage pages. Use the properties panel to adjust selected items.
- Export the edited PDF, selected pages, page ranges, or individual pages as a ZIP. Review the result in a PDF reader.
Good to know: PDFs are processed in the browser, but large documents use substantial memory. Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Annotations are flattened on export. The text editing tool covers the old text and adds replacement text without reflow; covered text may remain recoverable. Whiteout is not redaction. The redaction feature rasterizes affected pages, reducing vector and form content; inspect the result and use a specialist redaction workflow for sensitive legal documents. Digital signatures and some unusual fonts or PDF features may not survive editing.

Edit PDF pages and add annotations
The workspace combines page management and markup. Move pages into a new order, rotate, duplicate, delete, insert or split pages, and merge other PDFs. Add text boxes, sticky notes, highlights, freehand marks, shapes, images, and signatures. Undo and redo edits, then export the whole document or a selection.
This editor is adapted from the MIT-licensed Vensas PDF Editor and uses PDF.js for rendering and pdf-lib for writing PDFs. Editing happens locally in your browser. PDF format limitations still apply: changing existing text is approximate, and visual whiteout does not erase hidden content. Use the Redact tool and inspect its output carefully when removing sensitive information.

No. Use the Redact tool for sensitive content; a whiteout or shape is only a visual cover.
Can the editor rewrite paragraphs like a word processor?
No. Its text replacement is approximate and does not reflow surrounding page content.
