Word to PDF

Reads a .docx file and builds a PDF with its headings, paragraphs, lists, simple tables and images.

No file yet. Add one to begin.

Limitations

  • This is a simplified conversion, not Word's own layout engine. Expect different line breaks and page breaks than in Word.
  • Headings, paragraphs, lists, simple tables and PNG/JPEG images are kept. Fonts become a standard sans-serif, and bold, italic, colours and alignment inside paragraphs are not kept.
  • Headers, footers, footnotes, text boxes, shapes, comments and page numbers are not included.
  • Characters outside the basic Western alphabet (for example Cyrillic, Greek, Chinese, Arabic) cannot be drawn and are replaced with “?”.
  • Complex or merged-cell tables may look different. Very wide tables are squeezed into equal columns.
